2021 Spring Laos Green from One River Tea. This was a green tea when I got it, now the leaves have faded to brown. A bit like aged raw Liu Bao, farmer tea. Sweet, with a touch of smoke.

strong recommend
tea leaves occupy the whole frame. they are green and red. the light is illuminating them; the leaves are wet, and have a sheen.

If you want a tea that shows you exactly what old tree character in hongcha is like, this is it. The mouth and body feel are stellar and highly characteristic.

Cinnamon, anise, nutmeg. Dates, apricot. Old wood and cedar.
A shiboridashi filled to the brim with reddish brown leaves. The leaves are mostly flat, a little twisted, and moderately long.
