This morning, the #MinneapolisPublicHousingAuthority unveiled their newest project — it's a conversion from single family home to a triplex, only possible because of the Minneapolis 2040 plan.

It was so interesting to see how places like The Open Door operates — it was such a hive of activity and fascinating for me to learn how much food would go to landfill if not for places like this.

In 1950, a Northwest Airlines airplane wing struck a flagpole at Fort Snelling National Cemetery while attempting to land at the airport during a snowstorm. The damaged wing completely detached while flying over south Minneapolis and the aircraft crashed to the ground.
