You know you're on an adventure when your co-pilot gets out of the car to check to see how deep the water is on the road and he shouts back to "just go slow so we don't hurt the fish"

Our little buddy was back last night watching us while we were watching Taskmaster.They were unperturbed by our presence even when we stood at the window, less than a foot away. They had a little nap and then flew off.

In honour of World Wetland Day here is a photo of a badass carnivorous Purple Pitcher Plant taken at a coastal fen near the shores of Lake Huron on the Saugeen (Bruce) Peninsula. Fens are the coolest. But I could never pick a favourite wetland.

My life consists primarily of wandering around and paying attention.
