Here are a few questions the NYT propaganda-as-news-service could have answered instead of the ridiculous ones they asked.
He could, for instance, have written about any number of topics. Here are some ideas for free.

Winter solstice is always very meaningful for me. It feels like a paradox that it's where we mark the first day of coldest/darkest season of the year and it's also the point where the darkness begins to recede, ultimately leading the end of winter, as the days start to get longer again.
