Oh! I remember, this is why I’m not allowed to read fiction at bedtime: got into bed (clean sheets!), picked up a book, started reading… it is now nearly 3am and I have only just come up for air.

Ok, I have knitting and a box of chocolates, and if I really exert myself I can have a cup of tea too. Time to switch from doing-nothing-relaxing of my day off to the subtly different vegging-out relaxing of my evening.

I finally had a day free so I could catch up on all my admin (I know this isn’t exactly a ‘free’ day), but have been floored by a migraine that is thankfully finally starting to lift. Still wobbly though.

I just watched all of Good Omens 2 and it was wonderful but I’m done in by the ending. Just sitting here staring into space now.

My holiday is definitely over, I’m working all day today but worse news is that my usual coffee place is closed and I have had to make do with a coffee that is both inferior and more expensive.
