Putting one of my Christmas gifts to good use: made a 6-string braid from macramé yarn! Same technique as with scoubidous/boondoggles/lanyards.

~40 cm long, 4-5 hours of work.

Now I need to order more colours!

A market stall in a small town under a bright summer sun. A variety of fruits is being displayed. Apples, pears, melons, peaches, garlands of bladder cherries. Taray, a genet, appreciately browses through a concertina book full of racy (tasteful nudes) art prints. Turns out the fruit seller, a jackal with a sly grin, is actually selling them under the counter! That's how you circumvent local regulations, folks. Let's hope the gendarmes look the other way!

Kuveli loves riding Sakara's mare Pekka, so when Lani mentioned his motorbike and explained what it was, the kid asked for a race on a local country road! Plenty of fun—at 60 kph!

A specimen of the Lentekan script, unwittingly written from right to left. Which makes sense, after all. Since the Lentekans were contrarian enough to create their own writing system, writing direction had to be different, too.

Day 2 of the Wantaelian diplomatic mission in Lentavohi territory! Gifts were exchanged including amber jewelry (a nonexistent material on Lani and Taray's planet), a flint spear, and a sexy outfit for the genet.

Time for assistant Kuveli to shoot a little newsreel with Lani's 1/3" movie camera!

Back from another raid overseas, famous sea raider Rivla of the Wazdel Clan is playing with one of his prisoners. Will he clean the plates during tonight's banquet? Will he be a cupbearer, pouring mead and cider for the warriors?

Lani piloting the Wantael Island Coast Guards fiery red and gold autogyro a few hundred feet above ground and still going up, with Taray in the passenger seat.
