Federal agents investigated and interrogated @aclu.org's client after he emailed DHS urging “common sense and decency” in an asylum case. The government subpoenaed his personal data within hours. That’s intimidation, not democracy. We’re in court defending the right to dissent and free speech.

Everybody, everywhere: we need you to call your Senators and let them know that they CANNOT vote for the DHS funding bill.
The Senate will vote on the DHS funding bill next week and it can’t pass without Democratic votes.
That means Democrats have real leverage to rein in ICE, but they won’t use it unless we force them to.

As the bill moves to the Senate, Democrats have a responsibility to draw a line. Putting actual guardrails on ICE is the bare minimum here. Allowing Trump’s brutal secret police force to operate with essentially a blank check is unacceptable.
