Worth noting that Man City have now dropped points against Sunderland, Chelsea and Brighton in successive games.

All three of those sides are in poor form, having won 1 game in their last 15 combined fixtures.

Interesting. Personally I would wait until a bit later in the window and if Kai has returned smoothly + no other injuries in that area, let him go there on loan.

Four seperate occasions I've seen people kick the ball away 10x further than Declan Rice did for that second yellow last season and none have been booked.

We will literally never again see what they did to us last year.

..and Man Utd fail to beat Burnley due to an Ayden Heaven own goal. What an incredible evening of football 💉
Man City, Villa draw, Chelsea and Spurs lose.

What another amazing day of football. Now do our job tomorrow.

Sesko finding some form - next game, they host Man City. Lovely.

Man City were desperate for a goal and The Etihad was half empty and you could hear individual voices throughout the crowd.

That soulless club deserve none of the titles they have.

Got a feeling Gyokeres is about to hit a purple patch.

Oh look... Sunderland is a hard place to go. Even with half their team out, held Man City to a point.
January 1, 2026 at 10:02 PM
Gyokeres brace and our 5-0 win over Leeds was brushed off, but Liverpool have now only drawn home and away against them.

Need to be happy with and celebrate any PL win.

People will say it’s very negative but I think if he’s not going to trust Eze there, I’d rather Norgaard plays when Rice is out, then Zubi plays higher.

Norgaard reads the game so well to give us structure and Zubi can offer something unique higher up / in a double pivot.

Of the current top half, we only have two away games left (Man City & Brentford).
December 31, 2025 at 12:57 AM
I think it's clear Ethan needs a loan in January. With Eze ahead of him centrally and struggling for minutes himself, plus Havertz coming back.

Would ideally like a PL loan but will he start regularly enough anywhere? Bournemouth maybe? Otherwise feels like Burnley or Leeds which isn't great.

Obviously we were bad against Wolves but they've since gone to Anfield, pushed Liverpool close and then drawn at Old Trafford, having out xG'ed them.

Premier League games are hard.
December 31, 2025 at 12:27 AM
We have the tools to win this season for sure. It's all about getting most of these to their top level (Odegaard, Rice, Saka, Havertz/Jesus).

The rotation players have to both push and protect the gems so they are firing when winning time comes.
December 31, 2025 at 12:25 AM
We can name a strong team for the Chelsea tie, but in those and the Inter game, the likes of Saka, Timber, Gabriel, Rice etc. shouldn't be starting any of them.

Lots of games to come but big chances for the squad players and chance to ensure our stars are fresh heading into the key months.
December 31, 2025 at 12:16 AM
Gyokeres did some better things tonight but the reality is with Jesus and Havertz coming back, he will very quickly see his minutes cut heavily if he doesn't start scoring more.

Hopefully brings the best out in all of them as it has in other areas.

Unai Emery's head is fully gone 🤣🤣🤣

That Martin Zubimendi performance is going under the radar.

Scored the crucial goal with a beautiful finish and covered more ground in Rice's absence.

🔸45/49 passes (92%)
🔸2 key passes
🔸3/4 long balls
🔸2 tackles
🔸2 interceptions

Hincapie looked great at LB. The slip was so annoying, certain assist for Saka.
