I love the Macy's Parade.

How come no one talks about the absurd amount of waste created by dry cleaning? Every time we bring stuff in, we end up with 42 new wire hangers, 11 trash bags, and a stack of safety pins and weird plastic clips that shatter upon removal, leaving shrapnel in all corners of the room.

In vain we compute our felicities by the advantage of our good names, since bad have equal durations, and Wario is like to live as long as Mario

My biggest takeaway is that I wish my cat would get excited about playing video games with me :(
It took me more than 8 years on and off to finish Persona 5 (Royal), but today was the day it finally happened. There's a bit of a hole left behind after all that time, but I'm glad I finally stuck with it. God, what a special game.

Kotaku has been flooding my RSS feed with (often presumptuous) headlines like this in recent months. Specifically, the ones about "clearing stock" and such rub me funny. I assume it's AI trash, but it's so freaking tacky

The most important film of our generation. Genuinely one of my all-time favorites.
Happy 40th to one of my all-time favorite films. I can't count the amount of times I've seen this movie, as I wore out my VHS copy. Was one of my first DVD purchases as well. If I have to make a list of movies that define who I am, this near the top.

I was just thinking about this the other day. I still quote the Pineapple Express FX edit.
"Muckarucka"
"Casserole"
And on movies, they may never know that weird censored for TV voice. You know the one..

"Pardon my French, but Cameron is so tight that if you stuck a lump of coal"

weird voice: "IN HIS FIST"

"in two weeks you'd have a diamond."

There was this bar in Chicago called A10. I was there for a weekend visiting friends in 2017. The bar has since closed.
They had the most incredible fries I've had in my life and I'll never forget them.
I don't want to hear about your lost loves, tell me about the restaurant food that haunts you because you'll never be able to taste it again

Guster has been one of my favorite bands since high school and this just makes me so damn happy
EXCLUSIVE: Tonight at the Kennedy Center, Guster brought on cast members from Finn, an LGBTQ+ kids musical that was recently canceled when Trump took over the center. They performed the band’s song “Hard Times” to a standing ovation.
