Kemi Badenoch continues to rely on personal attacks on Labour ministers and rarely lands even the lightest blow on Starmer. I do wonder how long Tory voters will tolerate this poor leadership.

People on X (including Musk) getting tremendously excited about a petition to have an election which has a couple of hundred thousand signatures. They seem oblivious to the fact that it’s the PM not Parliament that calls the election and we’ve just had one resulting in a large majority for Labour.

Sigh - classic fact free nonsense. ‘news’ story here totally fails to mention that Tory plans were for fines of £5k (later reduced to £3k) for each missed heat pump sale. What @Ed_Miliband has done is to reduce that to £500. Headline should read “Miliband slashes Tory boiler tax”

Isn’t it amazing how much noise the privileged can make in defence of their own privileged status? If they had ever made a tenth of that noise in defence of the underprivileged I might be more inclined to listen.

I was an economist at the BoE at the same time as she worked there. She was an economist. I walked past her desk a few times a day. I read notes she wrote. Attended the same meetings. The last time I wrote this on Twitter someone replied 'you supported masks and lockdown'.

I am amused by the latest attack line against Starmer regarding him going overseas. We’ve had a government which has damaged relations with our near neighbours, we have an insecure world and the need to encourage trade. Is he supposed to address all that from Downing Street?

Am I the only one to think that Cummings is the Emperor’s New Clothes? A man who thinks himself to be incredibly bright but is wrong about almost everything?
