My spouse currently works 4 hrs /8 hr shift to pay for healthcare thru the aca. As of Jan she will work 6 hrs /8 hr shift for the same thing. She is not listening when I tell her to stop working and apply for Medicaid. She is working FT to pay for healthcare. Any advice appreciated. Just sayin.

If the Ds were smart they would present their own health care plan whether that’s improvements to the aca or Medicare for all. Develop it present it and all stand behind it. And be vocal! Otherwise they are no different than the Rs. And bitching about them does nothing substantive. Just sayin.

The more I think about it the more I realize how selfish I was being. I felt betrayed by the Ds vote. But now see how many were helped. My SOs health care costs will amount to 50% of her income. But we will cont to buy food & heat. So I will withhold judgement till Jan. Just sayin.

I paid my FICA taxes for over 50 years. Many of them at the max. And I now pay federal tax on the monthly allotment. I pay just under 5% of that allotment every month for Medicare. And Rs will be increasing that % in Jan. When was the last time an insurance company bankrupted? Dumbasses. Just sayin
