At first, I understood the necessity of staying on twitter for a lot of artists doing business, but the time to leave is now.

It's impossible to escape your work being scraped at some point, but you at least don't have to be complicit. Change doesn't happen easily, show that you have a backbone.

Not only is the site actively putting a “Okay, now remix this” button below art (and elevating them above the OP with a QRT) and it’s false flagging original art as made by AI.

the first page of a comic featuring kaede and shuichi from danganronpa. it's colored in monochrome yellow. in the first panel, kaede holds a beret and says "aw, a silly hat, this is so cute". shuichi is behind her saying "ooh" in appreciation of it. the monomono machine is in the top right corner, and gacha capsules spill out around them. next, kaede puts the beret on and turns around, saying "how do i look? now we match!" there's a small panel of shuichi making a surprised but happy expression. the second page of the comic. shuichi looks at kaede, fidgeting with his shirt sleeve, and then drops his hand and looks down, smiling, and says "it's a nice color on you." there's a small panel of a closeup of his hat. kaede reels back in shock, saying "oh!" and then she waves her hands apologetically, saying "i didn't mean to-" shuichi, looking surprised, says "what?" the third page of the comic. kaede takes the beret off, looking sheepish, and says "ugh, my big stupid mouth. sorry, i know you don't like it when-" the next panel shows both of them stuttering over each other "talking about-" "ah!" "it sounded like i was making fun of-" "no! it's fine, akamatsu-san!" the next panel shows them both from the shoulders up, smiling at each other and saying "sorry". there are panels on the side focusing on kaede holding the beret to her chest, and shuichi's eye underneath the brim of his hat. the fourth and final page of the comic. shuichi and kaede are standing next to each other now; kaede holds out the beret and says "so i could give this to someone as a gift? it's kinda nice that monokuma wants us to make friends" and shuichi responds "yeah, oddly considerate" with his hand on his chin in thought. they look away from each other, blushing, as kaede holds up another coin for the machine. they both think "i'm glad that we're..."
