In the 80s/90s I was a truly "professional" musician. Toured with whoever was playing, whoever offered a wage. Divinyls, James Reyne, Dragon, Jenny Morris, James Freud... but also twenty other completely unknown/forgotten artists. 1/2

I could absolutely yell "Fire!" in Bluesky and it would be fine. In this way, Bluesky is fundamentally unlike a crowded theatre.

Here in Australia it's kind of like On The Beach. The shitstorm has blow up, far away, but we know the cloud of fallout is slowly, surely heading our way.

My new fave use of AI is uploading Behringer's incomprehensible manuals and then asking the AI how to do stuff like "how do I set the quantizer to a pentatonic scale?"

Who could possibly think that broadcasting nude photos of Trump's wife would cause him even the slightest embarrassment? Even a normal, healthy human would probably not be terribly dismayed, especially given that this was not any kind of a secret.
