Incredibly sad. These kids were students at my partner's old school. Rhys's sister used to teach there. I lived in Pakuranga for a few years. And another person lost came from my mum's home town.

I always eyed Wikipedia dismissal with scepticism. Working in a tertiary institution and seeing "research" first hand (pre-AI) cemented that yep, Wikipedia pretty good. Now in the era of anti-knowledge, I'm a regular donor.
