Outrageous
Well the NIH has cancelled the Women's Health Initiative, the largest study of women in history

It has been running continuously since 1991 and has provided massive key knowledge about diseases in women

Unreal

Heartbreaking
I spoke to a South Carolina woman today who is miscarrying - her fetus has no heartbeat - but the state's ban is preventing doctors from taking action.

She has to walk around with a dead fetus for another week so she can get a FOURTH ultrasound.

This is what bans do.
Her Fetus Has No Heartbeat—They Still Won't Give Her An Abortion
South Carolina's ban is torturing a 31-year-old mom *right now*

Ohio lawmakers want to give tax credits to fetuses—this isn’t about helping families. It’s a backdoor to fetal personhood and a step toward banning abortion from conception. #ReproRights #OhioPolitics

Ohio Republican wants to give child tax credits to pregnant parents
Parents wouldn't have to wait until a baby is born to claim them as a dependent if a bill in the Ohio legislature becomes law.

😡
Is this just our new normal? Women being arrested if a cop doesn’t like how they miscarried, and lawmakers debating whether to put us to death before breaking for fucking lunch? Has everyone lost their minds?
They're Arresting Us for Miscarriages Now
What the hell happened to the Overton Window?

If lawmakers want to fight waste & fraud in healthcare, start with billion-dollar insurance companies—not by gutting Medicaid, which covers millions of women during pregnancy and nearly half of all U.S. births. #ProtectMedicaid

House GOP passed a budget cutting Medicaid by $880B over 10 years—hurting nearly 80M Americans. Medicaid covers 41% of U.S. births, nearly half in Ohio. Call your Senators & state leaders to reject these cuts! #ProtectMedicaid #MedSky @protecthealthcare.medsky.social @doctorscouncilseiu.bsky.social
