We use a knowledge
That we do not cling to or conceptualize.
There are no true natures.
So what are we afraid of?
This too is my supreme empowerment.

My practice is a practice that lacks any duality.
I practice the heart-essence of everyone
As being the Bodhicitta.
I practice that my own mind
Is primordial Buddhahood.

We do not work.
We do not propitiate.
We do not hunt.
Our experience is spontaneously realized.
Our own luminescence is uncontrived.
Our awareness is nothing at all.
Our circle does not expand or contract.
Our true selves are spontaneously realized.

The space of our wisdom
Has no extreme or middle.
The dominion of the Dharma
Has no outside or inside.
It is unborn.
It is not still.
It is not attached.
It is spontaneously realized.

Awareness without visualization
Is a transmission that is clear by itself.
Not to dwell on anything
Is the transmission of direct perception.

The light of self-originating awareness blazes.
This total clarity is beyond our experience.
Once we understand the meaning of unspeakable awareness
Please make us laugh
About this intent that is beyond strife.

Taking in & holding on,
However they may be born,
Have no roots.

We look inside
And we hunt for the seer.
Because we are hunting
We do not find anything at all.
We do not see anything.
We do not give any names.
We leave no trails,
Like the paths of the birds in the sky.

The totality of samsara and nirvana
Is that they are both self-luminous wisdom.
We do not abstain from or work on anything.
We do not take things up or put them down.
We have no origins or engagements.
We are not lacking in any way.

We settle into the experience
Of the Dharmakāya’s own clarity.
We see a wisdom that is beyond our thoughts,
An intent of self-originating perfection
That is clear by itself.

Our awareness is like the sky.
We have no thoughts
About things like the dominion of the sky.
It seems that the sky is a happy mind that has no thoughts.
Self-originating wisdom is beyond our thoughts.

We are not born.
We do not stop.
We do not stay anywhere.

Within the great wind that does not move and is beyond strife
The virtues in not traveling dawn on us.
We are self-evident, indivisible, and sudden.
In this we have the supreme reward,
Which is to have no strife.

As for our body,
It is empty & clear.
Its true nature is not to be defined.

As for our speech,
It is beyond the names of words & sounds.
It is beyond discussion and lecturing.

As for our heart,
It has no thoughts or flickerings.
It is beyond beaming out,
And is beyond sacrifice.

Moreover,
Regarding our natural view:

Our true natures are not real.
They are a Great Perfection.
What arises from the earth, water, fire, and wind
Is actually Buddhahood.

It is uncontrived.
It is a great self-liberation.

Moreover,
Our enduring state is a mighty ease.
Its fullness is a rest for the foolish.
Our ideas are few and are naturally at ease.
This is beyond the works of our body and speech.
Those who have knowledge will hold to this.

To know the nature of the mind one has to discover that it is empty, inconceivable, and beyond all limitations. This is not an external understanding based on mental analysis. To see the essence of the mind means to abide in its very condition, without any change.

With wisdom, you do not dwell in samsara;
with compassion, you do not dwell in nirvana.

When we do not have any basis for conceptual delusions
We understand that the basis of all things
Is the majestic body of the Dharma.
We discontinue our own understandings of delusion.
This kind of undeluded vision
Comes from a core that is primordially liberated.

So it is that the mind that is liberated
Is itself not without compassion.
The wisdom that is present in the base
Forms a basis for the arising of our own natural energy.

In general,
It shows us a vision,
And it makes wisdom
Out of the connection between a mother and her child.
At the meeting on the border of samsara and nirvana
Our radiance is clear,
So in a body of light
We distil a wisdom that is beyond our ideas.

The earth is a completely perfect home.
It is great.
There is nowhere better.
This is because its nature does not shift.

The nature of multiplicity is nondual
and things in themselves are pure and simple;
being here and now is construct-free
and it shine out in all forms, always all good;
it is already perfect, so exertion is redundant
and spontaneity is ever-immanent.
