Lead product for Google AI Studio, working on the Gemini API, and AGI, my views!
Thrilled to welcome @fofrAI to Google DeepMind and the AI Studio team as a Senior Prompt Engineer!!
Our generative media models (Veo, Nano Banana, Lyria, etc) are reshaping the industry, such a special moment to make sure everyone can get the most out of them, and more!

Gemini having SOTA satellite data understanding was not on my 2025 bingo card, yet here we are :)

Unlocking Multi-Spectral Data with Gemini
Multi-spectral imagery, which captures wavelengths beyond human vision, offers a "superhuman" way to understand the world, and Google's Gemini models make this accessible without specialized training.

Introducing the File Search Tool in the Gemini API, our hosted RAG solution with free storage and free query time embeddings 💾
We are super excited about this new approach and think it will dramatically simplify the path to context aware AI systems, more details in 🧵

We just crossed 2.1 million users vibe coding in AI Studio with hundreds of thousands of apps made every day 🤯
This is just the start but we have been blown away by the reception so far. Keep the feedback coming!

We just shipped some nice Gemini API updates for developers using Structured Outputs. The API now supports:
- $ ref for recursive schemas
- anyOf union types
- min + max numerical constraints
- null types
- property ordering adherence
And much more!
