Just landed at LAX and seeing the news about the President’s blame game. What an absolute ass, and that’s being mild. 2 significant disasters already in 2025 and all he can do is lie and point fingers. I have no idea how I’m going to get through this Admin.

We’ve lost too many irreplaceable CA State Park natural and cultural resources in the past few years.

This, in a nutshell, is part of what is completely broken in the US today.
I want to watch TV coverage of the live fall of the Syrian regime.
CNN is airing a Giuliani documentary, Fox News has a comedian joking about Canada, MSNBC a documentary about migrants
So I turned on BBC,which is breathlessly switching between Syria, South Korea demonstrations, and Ghana election

I started my career with State Parks as a seasonal in 1989. Two weeks ago, I retired. I might go back to being a seasonal ranger at some point, or maybe just volunteer. Feeling a little disoriented, frankly, but very grateful for all the friends and memories.
