Earlier, 5yo came upstairs with a notebook she wouldn't let me look at, carefully read me a list of foods and told me she was a waitress taking my order. So I ordered at random.

I have suddenly remembered an FB parenting group where a US mum had an absolute rant having just found that European parents put their babies in bags to sleep. It was both baffling and very funny. I think she was picturing, like, a duffle bag with the zip done up, but she wouldn't stop to listen 😂
We may be making a decision to ditch the duvet and put our child back in a bag. They have bags with legs now!

Safety wings! Made from cotton, reflective tech fabric, and layers of quilted poly batting and interfacing. Mine have performed perfectly in 20 mile rides and pouring rain.
Can also do dragon wings! £90, each set made custom.

The Kobo app on my phone is so useless and I hate it. It keeps crashing if it's been more than an hour or so since I opened it and needs to be rebooted.

Day 3 post-op and I have finally had a shower! And brushed my teeth! (The latter was pretty painful - lots of chest muscle gets used in the back-and-forth 😬)

I feel like I would definitely be capable of getting back to sewing apart from the bit where I have to keep switching between the overlocker and the sewing machine, and they definitely weigh more than a kettle.

Today I am VERY tired and hurty.
Also I discovered at 2am that codeine makes me throw up, that was an enormously fun discovery on so many levels!

The nice thing about having surgery at 8am tomorrow* is that I only need to not eat things/drink tea after midnight, which is basically normal life as I don't want to eat early in the morning anyway!
I am not a fan of having to leave the house at 6 though, blehhhh.

The nice thing about having surgery at 8am tomorrow* is that I only need to not eat things/drink tea after midnight, which is basically normal life as I don't want to eat early in the morning anyway!
