Having fun in the lab again recently and found that getting creative with Dr. Strange spells leads to some serious meterless damage. 6.2k if you go for a reset after Jedah scythe instead of spending the bar. #mvcib #mvci_doc #OCTO_TECH

I feel like a lot of the Fighting Game discourse these days forgets that the 90/00’s happened and that some people can remember when Fighting Game commercials were on TV, and your next door neighbor’s mom might beat you at Street Fighter.

I feel like a lot of the Fighting Game discourse these days forgets that the 90/00’s happened and that some people can remember when Fighting Game commercials were on TV, and your next door neighbor’s mom might beat you at Street Fighter.

Admittedly, I’ve done a fair bit of hating on 2XKO and the wonky handling/timeline of it. Recently, the tag and combo system has me shutting my mouth, and FF showed the incredibly high skill ceiling and Marvel-levels of hype swing in matches. Currently, it’s def scratching the itch.

You have to spend all the meter/resources, but this kills 1k characters off most common grounded hits. 5M, jM, H, j2H (for even more damage). Going to test on Braum later. #OCTO_TECH #2XK0 #Illaoi

I labbed Ahri so much yesterday my thumb hurts today, finally starting to get a feel for her building blocks. Might have something unique to show off soon, too. Haven’t seen this combo route done I think at all.

I still feel kinda apprehensive on 2XKO overall, but that game is very fun to lab. Tag mechanics are so cool. Everything should have tag mechanics.
