On a related note I just finished the first book of Wings of Fire and it's a violently okay book. The premise is so good and the dragons are all so unique but I could not stand half the characters, which is probably because it feels like half the cast is designed to die as soon as possible.

I recently picked up a kindle at a thrift store for like $5 and I am unsure if it was a blessing or a curse because boy having a nice dedicated e reader with a light makes reading before bed very nice but oops it's almost 3am now because I had to finish the book

Y'know I knew from the moment I saw Doom: Dark Ages required a RT capable card that it would immediately launch discourse about "RT bad" because people can't upgrade their rigs. Last I checked like 40% of steam users have GPUs that are either lower end RT cards or are not RT capable at all.

It should be socially and legally acceptable to let people in customer-facing positions punch at least one shitty customer hard enough to break their jaw per week.
