For me, of the shorts @hcmfuk.bsky.social were Christopher Bowers-Broadbent’s exhausting-looking organ set, Sarah Hennies’ Fleas with vibraphone and bells, Frazer Merrick’s Colne piece*, and Edgy Palate’s excellent singing

@pierrelaronde - now you can find beats and avoid suspicious people!
Gifu prefecture has added the ability to overlay bear sightings to their map of reported suspicious persons.
Sus people still outnumber them but the bears are closing in.

Newspaper clipping from April 28, 1993.
In Hirase Village (Gifu Prefecture) a tanuki and fox were found passed out together after drinking 2 cups of sake left out as an offering to the gods.
A local snapped this photo several hours before the pair woke up and staggered back into the forest.

It’s not just plants that photosynthesise! Solar powered sea slugs get their names from eating the chloroplast in algae, which lets them use photosynthesis as a source of energy. Sea slugs that do this are called “sacoglossans” and are often a vivid green colour. 💚

Fab workshop at Thread Republic with Hayley Mills Styles.

Rock still to be coloured in, my satin stitch is more ‘rough, jagged stitch’, and the sea is inexplicably more choppy on one side than the other. But still, I’m quite pleased.
