ive spent most of my day so far twiddling my thumbs at my cubicle while an IT guy remote controls my laptop and tries unsuccessfully to figure out why i cant access the company portal *only* when im at the office

Everyone around me irl keep dropping in the fact that they use AI in every day life and work and it makes me feel like I’m going crazy especially when I push back and ask if it’s worth the consequences and the response is always, in the end, no 🫠 And yet this is just the average person now!

got some non-aliexpress minky to make myself a plushie as a treat
it does feel nicer (and like stuffing is probably not gonna poke through it) but it also sheds waaaaaay more when you cut it

upd8 on the saga of me and the neighborhood crows: ive slowly re-established some cred with them over the last few months, usually 3-4 of them show up on any given day and they've started popping up when i whistle again
occasionally i'll see seven of them at once, which is way more than before
