my mom's dr at the cancer center put down EIGHT WEEKS for my FMLA forms + i just talked to my hr person + she was like 'take it take any of it you need' b/c i was like 'well i'm probably coming back into town on monday, but if i could take a few days....' + she was like 'no, take the time'

mom is finally getting transferred to hospice closer to home (youngstown) - which, while further from me, is at least closer to MORE family who can visit and see her nearby. if we'd opted for her closer to ME, then it'd be harder for other family to visit AND everything would be on me
