Blood mage Verdant Spheres, a small Warcraft study.
I've put together a blueprint so that the spheres would follow the player character with a slight delay, which makes things more lively methinks

Vfx practice I did some time ago.

Meshes are from Sketchfab, the sword is based on an original concept art by @kyrin.bsky.social. The sword animation and the flowing glow on it's blade are done w/ vertex colors and WPO, at the time I was very proud that it worked out lol
