Oasis, photographed in the dressing room at the Jug Of Ale in Moseley (1994).

“[It] was actually a toilet and this is one of the first group photos I took of the band. The upstairs room was packed for the gig, with most people sitting on the floor … in a cloud of marijuana smoke.”

Looks like the band needed a quick beer.

Liam and Bono, photographed when Oasis were supporting U2 in the US (1997).

“This picture was taken while Noel was singing ’Don’t Look Back In Anger’ ... Suddenly Bono loomed into view and I quickly swapped focus ... I think this is one of the best live images I've ever taken.”

Noel and Liam, photographed in Paris (1995).

“Liam was drunk and minutes before this was taken had been chasing Parisians on bicycles over the bridge before hurling his drink at the wall ... Noel was thoroughly fed up but the session continued. That is what I love about Oasis.”

Oasis, photographed in East London (1995).

The band originally had shown up to the studio without their frontman Liam. He missed his train from Manchester!

A closer look at the 1972 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow featured on the ‘Be Here Now’ album cover (1997).

Destined to be scrapped for parts the car was acquired with parts already stripped, including the engine. It was resprayed and freshened up with a new mascot and grille.

Oasis posing for the ‘Be Here Now’ album cover at Stocks House in Hertfordshire (1997).

The cover art was originally intended to be a nighttime shot. However, the main lighting generator had blown up during the shoot and made the film completely underexposed.

Oasis, Schipol Airport (1997).

“I was just focusing on Noel and Liam, when suddenly in the background of my shot I saw a pair of legs sail past. It was Bonehead lying on his back with his legs in the air being a piece of luggage on the now moving conveyor belt.”

Oasis photographed for the ‘Some Might Say’ single at Cromford Station in Derbyshire.

Originally taken in black and white, the photo was hand-painted to achieve a more “surrealist” effect that matched the song’s lyrics.
