As a sister Buddhist, I think that when they say the future Buddha is the sangha/society, that Buddha is in a very early incarnation right now! How many lifetimes does this Buddha have to go through? Who knows? I guess we have to do the work now and maybe if we hasten slowly, we shall soon arrive.
