When you're working in a lab, put a readme.txt in every directory you create. Add the date, who created the dir, and WHY the directory was created. Bonus future proofing by including intended use of contents.

The sanity you save in the future might just be your own.

Our report found that Musk has a direct business interest in over 70% of the agencies & departments DOGE targeted.
