Not sure what the discourse is lately but as per my lrt I'm just always happy when I see people shipping with the same characters I do, it's always so much fun to see how people do it differently to how I manage it. That's kinda what fandom is for, right? Seeing your faves in different situations?

Anyway if someone gets territorial and weird and rude about shipping with the same NPC, ignore them because they're immature and not worth your time.
No one owns a WoLNPC ship. No one owns an NPC.
You do not need "permission" to ship with an NPC you like, even if a "popular" account does too.

Getting frustrated by my writing lately because it feels like no matter how much I try to put in it progresses at a snail's pace, and I'd just really like to have something I can share with others at this point. I feel stagnated.

I'm a bit biased though because I started playing in 2.4 and was at the height of obsession right when the first expansion came out, so that tempered my opinion a little bit. Also ShB was just excellent all round.

ngl one of the weirdest things I see in queer fandoms is that you will see a people assign character A as bottom and character B as top and start behaving as if that's canon, and if others so dare to make depictions that differ from that, chaos happens.

Stephanivien is such a lovely character and it sucks so much he's trapped forever in Heavensward (except for a brief foray in Endwalker), especially in Dawntrail where we're seeing all this amazing tech like electrope or the leaps and bounds Sharlayan is making and... I want him to see it too...

Random headcanon that I have in my own lore is that Elezen even when very expressive, rarely get a lot of visible changes to their faces like heavy blushing or cold sweats bc all of that happens to the tip of their ears instead so you can tell when that stoic elf is 😳 cuz their ears will betray them
