Send Help is Sam Raimi’s first R rated horror in 26 years and he really needs to make more movies. Although I wish it had more gore, the film is so much fun and very entertaining, so I’m not going to complain. Rachel McAdams is fantastic.

I’ve really enjoyed the couple of films I’ve seen from the multitalented Adams family. I think their latest on Shudder, Mother Of Flies, is their best yet. A slow burn folk horror with some beautiful cinematography.

Eventually got around to watching Yellowjackets season 3 and I’m still enjoying the series, but not sure how many season they can go. This show easily switches from the horrific, to the humorous. The cast is fantastic, but Christina Ricci is the star.

One Cut of the Dead, is one of those rare films, that does something so unique and brilliant, and is also, so much fun. For its low budget, the storytelling and filmmaking was absolutely ingenious.

Dead End is basically 5 people in a car travelling during the Xmas holidays. A bit predictable but it never drags as it’s so engaging and some great performances especially from the lovely Lin Shaye.
