Agree, specifically against Yarborough. We should be putting our best bats out against him, and I feel like Ref has been in a mini slump vs lefties, but it could also be just his lack of success as a pinch hitter

I honestly think they’d be fine with Roman in left. I more so think Rafaela will move to a utility role. And honestly I think Robs safe. I think they really value his leadership and familiarity with a lot of the younger guys. It’s weird but he’s been one of the longer tenured guys on the ML squad

Kelly, Bernardino, and Criswell. I’m sure Weissert could also go again, was only in for .1 innings (4 pitches). Although I’m sure they’re hoping to just go Dobbins for 5 Bernardino for 1 Criswell for the save

Need one of Kelly/Weissert to really show something soon. That or Guerrero to go on a crazy run. I can’t see them trading for a leverage guy until close to the deadline

In my honest opinion they’re only giving Ceddanne the starting CF spot so they have an excuse as to why they can’t play Yoshida in the field and why he needs to rehab his arm. Once they figure that out they’ll call up Roman with ease (I hope)

I was looking back at his stats from last season (because his second half of the season left a bad taste in my mouth) and was shocked to see that he’s always had a relatively decent FIP and ERA with us. Seems like a guy ready to take a step forward

Ik Devers’ defense is bad, but I can’t remember a time where I felt like it was why we were losing a bunch of games. If they believe in Campbell like it’s reported they do then I don’t see the need in signing an Adames or Bregman. I’m hoping this is all speculative and them doing due diligence

This may be one of the only times where the Red Sox being in every rumor is genuinely annoying me, and mostly because I feel like the rumors they’re tied to would just be them shooting themselves in the foot

This is vastly different than those other situations imo. Duran was never expected to be a 6+ War guy, especially not after his dismal 2021-2022 seasons and also being an older prospect. If the Sox think last year was an outlier (like Steamer does) it’s worth at least thinking about trading him
