We got up at 2:30am to watch @ultradamo.bsky.social finish his record breaking run in the Northern Traverse, and now I’m heading inland to try and find the girls coming across the moors.

At the Five Trigs race yesterday we raffled off an A2 print of my Spine photo to raise money for Oldham MRT.
We raised £400 from raffle sales, and in total they received a cheque from the race director for £1100.
A great day all round. 🥰

Had a few days away in the sun riding a bike up some hills and eating many baguettes.
All the good stuff 👌🏼

My print of me doing the Spine arrived!

£20 from each print sold was donated to @OldhamMRT (who volunteered during the race) so thank you to everyone that bought one. 🥰

@drlygo.bsky.social Hi love. Do you know where I can find a list of CP food for Winter?
I’ve searched the FB group and the website and can’t find anything.
I know about the lasagne, but that’s it! 🤣

Spine race weather so Spine race kit test.
The Holme Valley circular loop, with mid run cafe stop.
Watch it be the warmest January on record now 😳
December 7, 2024 at 3:13 PM
Starting and finishing at the Inov8 shop in Staveley you visit 8 Wainwrights on a loop of some very boggy trails.
Most of which I’m in no rush to do again 😳

Skamper/Inov8 round complete!
Spent 90% of the day in rain and clag but the waterproofs worked a treat.
Got a badge for my troubles too.
December 1, 2024 at 8:16 PM
There’s a new running round in the Lakes called The Skamper Round which starts from the Inov8 shop at Staveley.
8 Wainwrights and back before the cafe closes is the aim.
Giving it a go tomorrow in some changeable weather 😳

Thanks to the weather for allowing me to see if my kit will keep me warm/dry come January.

Happy with everything but the gloves today.
Need something better to keep my hands dry!!

Was out imagining that I was in the Spine Race this afternoon. ❄️
I would LOVE these conditions for the event. I’d feel like I’d got my monies worth.

Back in Edale this morning for a Peak Raid event.
You’re given a map on the start line, and have to visit markers whilst collecting points.
3 hour time limit to get back with as many points as possible.
Map and compass only.
No GPX.
