Hard to imagine a dumber move — Duggan running as an indie not only makes it highly unlikely he wins, but arguably makes it easier for a Republican of just about any stripe to win. After 10 years in the big seat, you think the guy would understand the key role parties play in elections. #migov

It is possible to admit both that the headwinds were too strong for a Harris victory in 2024 AND acknowledge that there were a number of significant failures by people within power in the DemParty and its consulting class that led to an “inevitable” loss. Those realities aren’t mutually exclusive.

I was mostly a lurker on the old Bird app and will likely be here, too. That said, I'm looking forward to following news and intelligent people on a social media site that isn't owned by a billionaire who opposes so many of the values I care about. To a #bluesky for all.
