"The way has been long and weary and full of pain, and many have fallen by the wayside, but the unconquerable army of labor is still on the march and as it rests on its arms today and casts a look ahead, it beholds upon the horizon the first glowing rays of the social sunrise."
When the mariner, sailing over tropic seas, looks for relief from his weary watch, he turns his eyes toward the southern cross, burning luridly above the tempest-vexed ocean.

Good to see Twitter still full of morons.

I've never run as a Democrat and I was never a "Capitol Hill employee" (do they mean to say I worked in DC?)

I don't have any Twitter accounts and these parapolitical cult people still obsessed with me.

Just saw an Apple ad which claims the average iPhone user drops their phone 208 times per year. That comes out to 4 times per week. What is going on?

Today's DDoS attacks on Twitter are only the beginning. It's going to become such a regular occurrence that people will eventually flee the platform in a mass-exodus tipping point. They are only still using it out of convenience, not any allegiance to the brand or features.

Lots of drama over on Twitter today. Funniest thing is that I deleted my account and no longer post there. I'm out to dinner with friends. #Ramadan

Children's content—books, TV shows, movies—are no longer educational. They have become digital pacifiers in a world where parents are spending longer hours at jobs where they are far more alienated from their work than previous generations. Capitalism is anti-human.

Brian Thompson reportedly had a salary of $10 million per year, and $20 million in United Health Care stock. His net worth was $43 million.

He was CEO during the COVID-19 crisis, at a time when UHC was denying 1/3rd of claims.

Not celebrating his murder, just making a point.

When you have people with easy access to guns who are exploited for their labor and left without basic health coverage while simultaneously CEOs take home millions in bonuses... well... that's a little bit of a pickle, isn't it?

Twitter/X is becoming more commodified as a pure ad platform. They're creating an environment for negative interaction by unbanning fascists and racists on the platform and giving them free reign to harass people. I'm not sure where the solution lies but we need a platform for sharing information.
