Today, we honored the life and teachings of The Good Judge Nathaniel R. Jones on his 99th birthday.

A group of brilliant lawyers discussed several of Judge Jones’ speeches and how his lessons are so relevant today - perhaps even more than when he delivered them.

Citizens of color are three times more likely to lack citizenship documents or face difficulties accessing them. Two thirds of Black Americans don't have passports.

This is a federal voter suppression bill. Period.

There are many lessons to be learned from the civil rights movement.

One of the most important is, when considering boycotts, to be clear-eyed and strategic, not reactionary, and to always keep our eyes on the prize.
