Mired by injuries, he's taken a tour back in Russia, then an AHL deal in Lehigh Valley. Don't see him as much more than a veteran depth option in DET, but hopefully he makes it

The Pearson to MTL deal is just weird to me. A 3rd round pick for a 3.25m cap dump is... fine? Casey DeSmith going back to VAN is an interesting acquisition though. Guess Allvin and Co. think Silovs needs more time. Maybe Kent thinks he can get something out of Pearson and flip him... Odd trade.
