someone in my group chat said they felt unsafe around me, a lebanese person, as a zionist. i think about the way they used the term “palestinian propaganda” to describe when i spoke about my family in lebanon having to flee their home. this was in a fandom space. “but you always make it about race”
so imagine how many of us are there. how many of us are hurt by your refusal to stand beside us and demand we be treated as human beings, by your hesitation to call out racism and islamophobia, by your inability to grow a spine and stand up for what's right.
