Soft skills will make or break your beverage sales. Hard skills, like product knowledge and reporting, are the easy part - those are super teachable. But someone with amazing soft skills like empathy, active listening, observation, excellent communication, and good manners is worth your investment.

For all the beverage brand owners/operators out there taking responsibility for distribution sales. If you can’t personally be out in your market at least 20 hours a week, you either need to restructure your calendar or hand sales off to someone else. Period.
