How would you sum up January 2026?

For those that claim us Norfolk folk are uncultured and unadventurous, I'd just like to prove you wrong:

An incredibly niche question but anyone had experience ordering from Blackhawk Japan?
They've a lovely set of Karo floor matts for the City *but* it's a lot of cash money to give a company I don't know.

Look Around You is absolutely superb and if you never watched it first time around because it passed you by or you're one of those yoofs who wasn't born until the 2000's then I recommend taking the time to enjoy the brilliance
I've been leaning towards Tubi being the streaming service, and now I think it's official: they have Season 1 and Season 2 of one of the best science and technology comedy shows ever made… "Look Around You".

Thanks, Tubi. Thubi.

Look Around You
This unique combination of parody and homage to early 70s/80s British educational programs examines different scientific topics in each episode.

I don't imagine there's much of a queue for the 348 but I'd be in it.

Acquired some old fashioned physical media. Good luck removing this from *insert streaming platform*

I've been regularly browsing eBay for Lotus/Honda stuff for the small car. A fusion of its Japanese roots & my Norfolk ones.
A tenner well spent.

New work allows me to see the lunacy of parts pricing for certain brands. Sir and/or Madam requires new PLASTIC badging for their Discovery?
Well, it comes in two halves and it'll cost you £80 for a Disco and Very will set you back £73.

I know there's a lot more important issues in the world right now but feck me, people with modern cars who sit with their foot welded to the brake pedal while stationary can get right in the sea.

Handbrake or walk because you're too stupid to drive.

Being forced to decide between this or the Liberty Walk Autozam LB40
stuff i thought were hella cool at the mild yankii festival (this year’s tokyo auto salon)🪡

an s660 reworked as a literally-designed mini-NSX NA, not just some proverbial cop-out like a beat lol

For the discerning Carpet Salesman, genuine Vauxhall clothes hanger because only OEM will do.

Knowing that they are currently supposed to be in hibernation, I recently got redressed and went outside past 10pm in the freezing cold to rescue a hedgehog that was sat outside on the path not moving.

It was in fact a large pine cone.

One real New Year's resolution: Cut down on the diecast and LEGO because it's money which can be better used elsewhere and I'm 40.

January 10th, it's going well.

Honda and by extension the folk at Mugen tickling all sorts of my buttons at Tokyo Auto Salon.

Anyone know what our favourite exterior modifier of Kei class vehicles, DAMD are up to at TAS this year?
for anyone seeking just a spark of joy today anywhere on planet earth, Rocket Bunny just debuted an Choro-Q R32 kit for a Suzuki Twin for TAS 2026 and, well, it’s sort of incredible and literally perfect
