This might be a hot take - The Weekend Whip is better musically, but We Rise is better lyrically. Even as a kid, TWW essentially listing the days of the week felt cringe. Choruses alone, they're both comparible.
Both Weekend Whip and We Rise are generic kids fodder but the former at least is more lyrically subtle compared to “explain the premise: the song”
