This was my first holiday season no contact with my parents. It still is to this day, the hardest decision that I have ever made. When you give someone over a decade to see and love you for who you are but get that effort thrown back in your face, it truly was the last option I had.

You know what pains me. Hearing Christian’s that have been convinced that their queer identity is wrong and think they have found peace in conversion. My heart breaks every time I hear someone say that Chris healed them from their love for another human.
