Does Omar Miller ever talk about the fact that the only nudity in Sinners is his gigantic penis? Second time seeing the movie: I was at the front of the theatre in 70MM. Had to ask my girlfriend to confirm that there was actually d!ck in our faces. So there was nudity, just not in a sexual context.

The ancient tweets imported from X with misleading dates are the worst part of my #bsky experience. Currency of information matters.

What are the best events happening at #ArtBasel #MiamiArtWeek this year? The #AmExPlatinum party was the highlight of 2023 but it doesn’t seem there’s anything going on this year.

Clubhouse Brewery can gwaan. The staff isn’t very knowledgeable about the beers and I didn’t see the option of doing a flight but the Tropical Stout I had was refreshing and the plantains were great. The escoveitch was too heavily breaded. #JamaicaSky

Sing sweet and low the lullaby, til angels say “amen”…. 🎶

I can finally enjoy my Christmas music in peace.

In ancient Mesopotamia, people rarely wrote about preparing food… “Out of hundreds of thousands of cuneiform documents, they are the only food recipes that exist. We don’t have an explanation.” (via @workingclassicists.bsky.social) [bbc.com]
What the Mesopotamians had for dinner
In Ancient Babylonia, soups and stews reigned supreme. Food historians are now using taste-tests to recover their forgotten flavours.
