12. There's always estate agency. Get to the end goal of home ownership with a little inside info, and stand out as a helpful agent who considers user needs, instead of showing them a lot of irrelevant stuff.

11. Retrain as an art therapist. Help people directly, and surely it's pretty AI proof? You get to use your much-honed advocacy skills for promoting your services, and your cohort won't scorn you for thinking empathy is helpful.

7. Plumber. High hourly rate, set your own schedule.

A web content editor colleague retrained as a plumber. He much preferred the new profession.

Big pro: no one comes to see the completed work, re-does it their way, springing loads of leaks as they aren’t skilled, and tells they’ve improved it.
