This red-tailed hawk was clipped by a car. He had some minor internal bleeding but no broken bones and after a couple of weeks was ready to be released back to the wild. We expect him to waste no time heading south for the winter.

One of the orphaned fawns we rescued this year was an albino. He wasn't totally white when he came in, but by the end of the summer, when he was ready to be returned to the wild, he had lost all pigmentation!
