Credible witness is perhaps *the* thing our culture craves from religious leaders, and sidling up beside an anti-Christ is perhaps the exact opposite of that
Not saying he was ever infallibly perfect or whatever but Barron had an appeal that I know for a fact helped several people I know in their faith journey, and he’s tossed all sense of credibility out the window.
