Hi Bluesky! I’m Congressman Donald Norcross, a union electrician from South Jersey who is a voice for workers in Congress. I believe the best social program is a good-paying job, and will always fight to put workers and their families first.
This Presidents’ Day, I am thinking about the words of one of our Founding Fathers, George Washington: “The Constitution is the guide which I never will abandon.”

It is the duty of our President to uphold the Constitution and its values on which our country was founded.

No matter your Valentine’s Day plans, one thing is certain: in Trump’s America, everything is more expensive and working families are paying the price.

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Nobody working full time
Should struggle to make do.💪

I’m fighting to raise the federal minimum wage so every worker earns a fair day’s pay for a hard days work.

Today, I delivered $850K for Camden County College to develop and expand their electric vehicle technician training facility. As NJ transitions to having more EVs on our roads, we must ensure student technicians are trained to the highest safety standards.

I am outraged by reports coming out about the ICE operation in Lindenwold yesterday. Their tactics and lack of transparency have instilled fear in the community and have put children in harm's way. Schoolchildren are not criminals, and enforcement actions must reflect that.

Students waiting for the school bus in Lindenwold, New Jersey, were sent running when an ICE enforcement operation began nearby.

For 117 years, the NAACP has led the fight to expand civil rights and strengthen our democracy. Today we recognize that legacy and recommit ourselves to work toward justice, equality, and opportunity for all.

Its ridiculous you can’t use U.S. currency to make a purchase at the U.S. Capitol. That’s why I introduced the Payment Choice Act which requires all brick-and-mortar stores to accept cash.  No American should be turned away for choosing to pay with the legal tender in their pocket.

Every year, I have the honor of nominating outstanding South Jersey students to our nation’s service academies. These young leaders have shown a real commitment to service and country, and I know they will represent our community well as they take this next step.

Our community said goodbye to Camden Firefighter Howard Bennett, who tragically lost his life last week. His funeral was today and after 26 years of service, Camden will never forget his integrity, humility, and heart.

Secretary Kristi Noem and ICE are out of control. I am working in Congress to pass legislation that would require public facing immigration officers to wear body cameras, just like police officers in New Jersey do.

The federal workforce keeps the lights on and the doors open for millions of Americans. From veterans’ benefits to food safety to national security, federal workers deliver the essential services Americans count on.

Good to meet with AFGE Local 2369 to talk about the problems facing the Social Security Administration workforce. Chronic understaffing hurts workers and the people who rely on these services.

Career and technical education gives students clear pathways to success, whether in the trades, technology or healthcare. Investing in these programs prepares young people for stable, well-paying careers.

The Super Bowl does not happen without workers. Electricians, stagehands, drivers, food service workers, and first responders make the day possible. Tonight as we watch the game, let’s not forget the thousands of workers making the magic happen behind the scenes.

The Eagles aren’t in the Super Bowl, but that’s okay — even eagles don’t hunt every winter. Sometimes they just circle… and come back stronger.

Today, we kick off Salute to Hospitalized Veterans Week, honoring our injured veterans and reminding them they are not forgotten. This week and always, we’re grateful for their service, sacrifice, and strength.

Thank you to everyone who came out in the cold for my 115th town hall. I’m grateful to every person who took the time to ask a question, share a story, and make your voice heard. Your voices shape the work I do every day in Washington.

We had a good discussion with @flyingwithsara.bsky.social, President of @afacwa.org, at this week's @laborcaucus.house.gov meeting. Flight attendants keep us safe in the air, and they deserve fair pay, strong protections, and respect on the job.

Today, we mourn the death of a brave firefighter in our community. His courage and sacrifice remind us of the extraordinary risks our first responders take to keep us safe each and every day. Our community grieves this loss alongside those who knew and served with him.

The Trump Admin’s refusal to release funds for the Gateway Tunnel project is unacceptable. Over 1,000 union workers could lose their jobs, countless commuters and families will suffer, and the nation’s largest and most urgent infrastructure project is now at risk.

The Gateway Development Commission said that if the federal government continued to withhold funding for a rail link under the Hudson River, it would have to stop construction this week.

On World Cancer Day, we stand with everyone impacted by cancer and the researchers working toward cures. In South Jersey, leaders like Coriell Institute and the MD Anderson Cooper Cancer Center are driving groundbreaking research and delivering real hope to patients and families.

Trump and Secretary Noem are turning DHS into a political weapon, using ICE to sow fear in our neighborhoods instead of keeping people safe. This is not who we are as a nation, and it has to stop.

It was good to sit down with the Chamber of Commerce Southern NJ and talk about how we are investing in jobs, education, healthcare, and stability here in South Jersey.
