The government and the Metropolitan Police ought to be held accountable for their actions; however, this accountability is unlikely due to the absence of a true democratic system.
The Police arrested this woman and 26 others for holding signs like these today.

What an absolute disgrace this is for the UK.

Starting Saturday, membership in or support for Palestine Action will be deemed a criminal offence following the unsuccessful last-minute legal challenge.
Nonetheless, a judicial review is scheduled for later this month. It would be a mistake to assume that the judiciary will align in your favour.
