I’ve been fascinated by the story of James Garfield and Charles Guiteau since Candace Millard’s book came out years ago. I’d recommend Destiny of the Republic every opportunity I could, often to blank stares, so I’m feeling quite vindicated by everyone enjoying the Netflix series based on it 🤓
