I went to an ortho doctor today to look at my hands. Good news: no carpal tunnel (probably) better news: 4ish years ago a doctor I saw for thumb pain saw mild degeneration in my thumb joints. The doctor I saw today took x-rays and looked at me and was like “your thumbs are fine?”

I was yesterday years old when I learned my job… at a medical outpatient facility… does not allow same day call offs for illness without getting a mark on your record.

I've been going back and forth about how to handle accepting r18 requests. I was going to test it out on DA, but do you... ever write something up and then get a really REALLY bad feeling?
