Several. I got interested after realising how much fiction the legend inspired, and I wanted to understand the source material. It’s been films, plays, operas, books, legends, folklore and even tracks way back to a real dude. I recommend the rabbit hole. One big old-man-fanfic ouroboros rabbit hole.

I wish I could comment more but I can only parrot as I haven’t even seen past films either 😭. I’m fascinated to learn tho so I’ll keep an eye out if you have any commentary!

Finished this CROSSBONES 11x17 private commission last week for a big fan of the character - fun one to dig into! I wanted a storytelling angle for it, so I imagined him being hired to break out Doctor Faustus from a maximum-security prison (The Raft, etc.)

I bought this lovely original painting for 50s Western novel ROARING FRONTIER in a charity shop today. I can't find anything yet on the artist (Cockerton) nor even a photo of the printed book, presumably just one of many dime-a-dozen Westerns relegated to dusty second-hand bookshops (if even).

Honestly, I stand by it. It was my youngest sister’s all time favourite game. She near refused to play any other game on Xbox.

Unfortunately the survey is not terribly clear on WHAT specific laws they option to implement, and I see no clear option to say ‘no I don’t want this at all’.

Further info. My particular case was not deemed significant enough to peruse. Limited police resources and all (it was a little over £200). Pouring existing resources into digitally stalking civilians and less into resolving already identifiable crime is not a spending allocation I agree with.

Late 2024 I was targeted by a scammer after exiting hospital. Caught on CCTV. Multiple witnesses. Perp was a known repeat. I watched my police report go nowhere 💔. I don’t believe more facial recognition will help anyone. I also should have a right as an innocent person to not be stalked by my gov.
